It has been a long journey from the first infirmary within the Sisters of Mercy Iviron Community to a modern, high-tech pediatric complex. It includes an inpatient facility, an emergency care department, a center for advanced medical technologies in trauma and emergency surgery, an early intensive rehabilitation unit, and a science and research institute.
We provide comprehensive care for children with severe mechanical trauma and acute surgical conditions of the abdominal cavity.
We use reconstructive and plastic surgery procedures to treat children with extensive soft tissue and bone defects. Our specialists have almost 10 years of experience in treating children with mine-blast injuries.
We are Russia’s only methodological scientific center that treats children with severe neurotrauma, extensive wounds, or wound infections.
Dr. Roshal’s Clinic offers a full range of diagnostic services, including radiological, functional, endoscopic, and laboratory examinations. The Clinic’s diagnostic radiology service is internationally renowned, particularly for predicting the recovery of the brain and spinal cord and monitoring treatment and rehabilitation progress.
The Clinic has established the first mobile surgical teams in history to treat children in disasters and wars. These teams have responded to major natural and man-made disasters in Russia and 23 countries worldwide. Since 2022, the Clinic’s specialists have been permanently stationed in the Lugansk People’s Republic, caring for children. They have also been dispatched on missions to Belgorod Oblast, Kursk Oblast, Crimea, and new territories of Russia.
The Clinic houses both a Laser Surgery Center and a unique Center for Bladder Exstrophy and Urogenital Reconstructions.
